Camera Assistant. Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.
I am a creator. I strive for success no matter how challenging a job may be. Weather the job is technical or creative I firmly believe in teamwork. If we work together anything in the world can be created by us creators.
My jump-start to the industry began in 2015 when I attended the NAB convention in Las Vegas. I was still too young to be on set but I would often create content myself for the world to see. In 2015 I started at Columbia College Chicago where I would eventually find my love for Cinematography.
After spending most of 2016 and 2017 as a camera assistant, I decided to go back to shooting and pursue my dream of becoming a Cinematographer. I shot a few digital and 16mm shorts, Music Videos, and Spec Commercials. In mid 2018 I was accepted into the Cinematography Thesis class at Columbia College. For the class I had to shoot a short film on 35mm. From this experience I learned about cinematography from an entirely creative perspective. I was learning how to use all the tools available to a cinematographer (Cameras, lenses, lighting, filter, etc.) as a way to display emotion through moving images.
In spring of 2019 I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in CInematography, eager to jump into the film industry I immediately began to freelance as a Cinematographer and Camera Assistant.
Throughout my never ending journey, I’m having a blast, meeting new people, working on new projects, and helping people create along the way. Next stop Los Angeles.
Now Lets Create.
